Ram Pacific started its operations as Asia liaison office for the Koç Group, Turkey's biggest industrial and manufacturing company. We've been responsible for product development and management on some of The Group's best-selling products.

Since 1995, when Ram Pacific began operations in Asia, the company has helped The Group to grow by linking our global reach in component sourcing with China's impressive manufacturing power.

Today, we're using that world-class experience and know-how to benefit clients outside The Group.

We are close enough to our parent to have the trading strength, vision and pride of the Koç Group's 80-year history on our side, but independent enough to explore new business links and work with new partners.

Ram Pacific is well placed to help our customers succeed in the new Asia-focused world economy because we have been in China from the early days of its economic miracle. That success story is still powering ahead. The next phase – the integration of China's financial system with international markets – will provide Ram Pacific with new opportunities for growth in project management thanks to our existing contacts in industry, commerce and finance.

Ram Pacific's dynamic approach has allowed us to exceed our own growth targets, so that turnover has increased by 30% each year. In 2008, we proudly expect to do business worth US$480 million.

In that time we've grown from one office in Hong Kong to four offices around Greater China – in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Tianjin and Shanghai. We now employ around 90 people in the region, and continue to work with our partners in developing production capacity in the Far East – especially in China. Our long-term vision is moving Ram Pacific from an Asian sourcing enterprise to a truly global one.
