Our Customer, Europe's leading white goods manufacturer, was launching a new marketing campaign to promote its corporate identity. The campaign involved development of a range of symbols to capture the company's spirit and core values. One of those symbols was a new company mascot.

The new mascot chosen by the client was a stylish robot with a warm personality that reflected the hi-tech values of the client and the user-friendliness of their products. Ram Pacific was asked to find sourcing solutions for the robot's component parts and to provide a choice of manufacturing schedules suitable to the client. As the mascot project was a part of a large and integrated marketing campaign, the production had to be carefully timed to support the aims of the whole operation. This involved finalising the design and manufacture of 150 pieces.

Our innovative "multi-country purchasing" approach enabled us to supply various components from different countries but to assemble the final product in China.

Ram Pacific delivered on every point – product development, manufacturing and SCM – on time as specified. This was a vital element in ensuring the success of the client's marketing campaign. The robot became extremely popular and he is still an important part of the client's corporate image.
