The client was sourcing a wide range of components with varying production lead times from different provinces in China. The issue was to ensure all the items arrived at the client's manufacturing facilities at the same time, in order to maximise production efficiency.
Ram Pacific used our expertise in SCM to devise a system for monitoring and controlling the manufacturing schedule of each component. This allowed us to draw up an efficient shipment schedule. Components from different parts of China were then collected in one place and sent to the client via multiple shipments each week.
